【摘要】:Thistestmethodisintendedforthedeterminationoforganicallycombinedsulfuricanhydrideinsulfatedoils.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationoftheorganicallycombinedsulfuricanhydrideexistinginasampleofsulfatedoilbyboilingthesamplewithsulfuricacidanddeterminingtheacidityofthereactionmixture.ThistestmethodisapplicableonlytooilsthatsplitofftheircombinedSO3uponboilingwithmineralacidsandthatdonotcontaincompoundsthatcannotbeaccuratelytitratedinwatersolutionwithmethylorangeastheindicator.ThistestmethodwasderivedfromTestMethodsD500,Sections15through19.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareprovidedforinformationonly.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
