【摘要】:Certainorgano-manganesecompoundsactasantiknockagentswhenaddedtogasoline.Thistestmethodprovidesameansfordeterminingtheconcentrationofsuchamaterialinagasolinesample.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofthetotalmanganesecontent,presentasmethylcyclopentadienylmanganesetricarbonyl(MMT),ofgasolinewithintheconcentrationrangefrom0.25to40mg/Lofmanganese.1.2Thistestmethodisapplicabletoreformulatedgasolinecontainingupto12%volumemethyltertiarybutyletherorupto10%volumeethanol.Thistestmethodmaynotbeapplicabletohighlycrackedmaterialscontaininggreaterthan18volume%olefinsasdeterminedbyTestMethodD1319(nondepentanized).1.3ThistestmethodhasbeendevelopedandtestedspecificallyforthedeterminationofMMTingasolineovertherecommendedconcentrationrange.Applicationofthemethodtootherconcentrationranges,tothedeterminationofMMTinothermaterials,ortothedeterminationofothermanganesecompoundsingasolinehavenotbeentested1.4ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thepreferredconcentrationunitsaremg/Lmanganese.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Forspecificwarningstatements,seeSections5and6.
