【摘要】:ISO/IEC7811definesthecharacteristicsforidentificationcardsasdefinedinClause4ofthispartofISO/IEC7811andtheuseofsuchcardsforintemationalinterchange.ThispartofISO/IEC7811specifiesrequirementsforahighcoercivitymagneticstripe(includinganyprotectiveoverlay)onanidentificationcard,theencodingtechniqueandcodedcharactersets.Ittakesintoconsiderationbothhumanandmachineaspectsandstatesminimumrequirements.CoercivityinfluencesmanyofthequantitiesspecifiedinthispartofISO/IEC7811butisnotitselfspecified.Themaincharacteristicofthehighcoercivitymagneticstripeisitsimprovedresistancetoerasure.ThisisachievedwithminimalprobabilityofdamagetoothermagneticstripesbycontactwhileretainingreadcompatibilitywithmagneticstripesasdefinedinISO/IEC7811-2.ISO/IEC7811providescriteriatowhichcardsaretoperform.NoconsiderationisgivenwithinISO/IEC7811totheamountofuse,ifany,experiencedbythecardpriortotest.Failuretoconformtospecifiedcriteriashouldbenegotiatedbetweentheinvolvedparties.ISO/IEC10373-2specifiesthetestproceduresusedtocheckcardsagainsttheparametersspecifiedinthispartofISO/IEC7811.NOTENumericvaluesintheSIand/orImperialmeasurementsysteminthispartofISO/IEC7811mayhavebeenroundedoffandthereforeareconsistentwith,butnotexactlyequalto,eachother.Eithersystemmaybeused,butthetwoshouldnotbeintermixedorreconverted.TheoriginaldesignwasmadeusingtheImperialmeasurementsystem.
