【摘要】:Automaticdeterminationofstabilityparametersusingalightback-scatteringtechniqueimprovesaccuracyandremoveshumanerrors.Inmanualtesting,operatorshavetovisuallycompareoilstainsonpiecesoffilterpapertodetermineifasphalteneshavebeenprecipitated.Refinerythermalandhydrocrackingprocessescanberunclosertotheirseveritylimitsifstabilityparameterscanbecalculatedmoreaccurately.Thisgivesincreasedyieldandprofitability.Resultsfromthetestmethodcouldbeusedtosetastandardspecificationforstabilityparametersforfueloils.Thecompatibilityparametersofcrudeoilscanbeusedincrudeoilblendinginrefineriestodetermine,inadvance,whichcrudeoilblendswillbecompatibleandthuscanbeusedtominimizepluggingproblems,unitshutdowns,andmaintenancecosts.Determinationofcrudeoilcompatibilityparametersalsoenablesrefineriestoselectcrudeoilmixturesmoreeconomically.Thistestmethodcanmeasurestabilityandcompatibilityparameters,anddeterminestabilityreserveondifferentblendsforparticularapplicationstooptimizetheblending,storage,anduseofheavyfueloilsNote18212;Usersofthistestmethodwouldnormallyusestabilityandcompatibilityparameterstodeterminestabilityreserveofresidualproducts,fuelblendsandcrudeoils.However,theinterpretationofstability,stabilityreserveandcompatibilityisheavilyx2018;usedependent,x2019;andisbeyondthescopeofthistestmethod.1.1Thistestmethodcoversanautomatedprocedureinvolvingtitrationandopticaldetectionofprecipitatedasphaltenesfordeterminingthestabilityandcompatibilityparametersofrefineryresidualstreams,residualfueloils,andcrudeoils.Stabilityinthiscontextistheabilitytomaintainasphaltenesinapeptizedordissolvedstateandnotundergoflocculationorprecipitation.Similarly,compatibilityrelatestothepropertyofmixingtwoormoreoilswithoutprecipitationorflocculationofasphaltenes.1.2Thistestmethodisapplicabletoresidualproductsfromatmosphericandvacuumdistillation,fromthermal,catalytic,andhydrocrackingprocesses,toproductstypicalofSpecificationsD396,GradesNo.5L,5H,and6,andD2880,GradesNo.3-GTand4-GT,andtocrudeoils,providingtheseproductscontain0.05mass%orgreaterconcentrationofasphaltenes.1.3Thistestmethodisnotrelevanttooilsthatcontainlessthan0.05%asphaltenes,andwouldbepointlesstoapplytounstableoilsthatalreadycontainflocculatedasphaltenes.1.4ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.1.5Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
